A Less Travelled Road and a Mystical Journey
We were thrilled to be part of BBC’s Grand Tours of Scotland’s Lochs, where glass artist Brodie Nairn had the pleasure of welcoming TV presenter Paul Murton into the studio and teaching him how to make one of our signature droplet vases.
Inspired by the natural movement and beauty of molten glass, the droplet vase is a wonderful piece to create, capturing that perfect moment between fluidity and form. It was a joy to share a little insight into the skill, heat and teamwork that goes into every handmade piece here at North Coast Glass.
A very special experience for us, and a lovely moment to showcase traditional glassblowing in the heart of the Highlands.
Our Droplet vase was designed to appear simple and elegant inspired by a falling water droplet. The top of vase gives the impression of a bud of a flower opening up. The vase is ideal for one or two fresh flowers, or it will stand perfectly happy with out any flowers. try a row of three to create a beautiful contemorary home decoration. This season we are offering our droplet vases in two sizes large and small and in a variety of colours.
